What’s Going on This Weekend?

Being spoiled with this summer weather makes a person want to get out and see what’s going on.  This weekend there are a few things to check out…

Happy 6th Birthday, Silly Goose!

Silly Goose Kids is celebrating their sixth year of business.  Stop by with your kids for some free face painting, crafts, and cake!  While you’re there, buy some great little gifts and toys tax free – this weekend only.

Honouring Community Builders: Unveiling Two New Laneway Signs

Angelone Lane and Paul Estrela Lane signs are being unveiled this Saturday, September 23rd at 10 a.m.  Join Councillor Davis and community members for light refreshments and to celebrate the contributions of these two amazing community-builders!

We’ll be gathering behind the Pizza Nova at Woodmount and Danforth.

DECA is so pleased to see our laneway naming efforts come to fruition (initiated at our laneway crawl last summer).  Thank you to Councillor Davis!

Let’s Celebrate Our Birthday

Come over to the Shore Leave on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. to continue the celebration of #DECAde (our 10th birthday) with some good tunes and a toast to ten years of awesome, volunteer-powered, community-building fun.

We are providing snacks. Cash bar.

In our area and general vicinity, you can find splash pads at Gledhill Park, Stan Wadlow, Aldwych Park, Cassells Avenue Playground, Dieppe Park, Greenwood Park and Woodbine Park.
