It’s time for our annual Pride celebration at the market! To celebrate visibility and support local action, we have some special additions to the market this week:
Connect: Stop by and meet @friendsofruby.ca who support two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and all gender non-conforming youth, 16-29, by providing free counselling, housing, and social services. Donations of presto tickets or cash for youth transportation will be gladly accepted.
Create: join @mischiefmakersto in creating affirming messages with Lego printmaking!
Be Loud; Pride was founded on the idea of protest and visibility continues that message. Take a picture in our free Pride Photo Booth, hosted by professional photographer @embidochka and share your photos in whatever way resonates for you.
We will also have @createartdanforth with a fun spiral art kids activity and the Spice Boys with some great tunes!
PLUS! All our great FARMERS and local food vendors, @redtapebrewery , and pop ups including coffee(!) courtesy of @decreto_cafe @babka.baking.co with treats and @newfoundflavours with delicious jams and jellies.
