We will also have art projects with Create Art Studio, a musical instrument petting zoo with Lane School of Music, and delicious shortbread from our local business popup, Grandma Betty’s Baking!

So bring your non-perishables for donation and we’ll see you at the market!

Market this week: The Space, Kidpreneurs, Popsicles! (and next week: Bike Day)

This week

Our local business popup this week is the Pop Stand with their delicious handmade popsicles! Rotating vendors are Bata Maple Syrup and Beef, and Left Field Brewery.

Kidpreneurs

This week at the market we’ve got a couple of really fun Kidpreneurs: Grow will be selling bookmarks, candles, bath salts and candy skewers and Happy Beaders will be selling jewelry. Our kidpreneurs pay a nominal fee to be at the market, and then share their profits with a charity of their choice. This summer we’ve been treated to all kinds of amazing kid-made treats and treasures! DECA is very grateful for the work of local author and financial literacy advocate Clifton Corbin for his organizing of the Kidpreneur program at the market.

Kids’ Tent

The Space  will be in the kids’ tent with some fun activities. They are currently registering for fall classes — they offer ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, acting, singing, and creative movement classes for children, teens, and adults.  Fall classes start in September.
