Election Day is Thursday, June 7. DECA is non-partisan and honestly, we do not take positions on politics at any level. We do, however, advocate for community engagement and participation and encourage every eligible voter to exercise this precious right on Thursday (or today).
If you are 18, a Canadian citizen and a resident of Ontario, you can vote.
You can click here to find out where to vote on Election Day using your postal code: https://voterinformationservice.elections.on.ca/en/election/search
You can also vote in person on Wednesday at your local Returning Office. The link above will tell you where. (Note that the “advanced polling” locations are now closed, so ignore those!)
If you do not have a voter info card but are otherwise eligible you can still vote. Show up to vote with a piece of ID or bill that shows your name and address. (You can use an original identification document, a photocopy of an identification document, or an electronic copy displayed on a mobile device. This includes utility bills received electronically.)

East Lynn Park Farmers’ Market!
June 7th is the first market of the year! We’ll have the official opening day on June 14th, but there will be farmers there tomorrow so plan to stop by between 3-7pm at East Lynn to say hi and support our farmers, either before or after you vote!
#DanforthEast Yard & Sidewalk Sale
We couldn’t help but mention that the 6th annual #DanforthEast Yard Sale is happening June 9th – add your sale to the big map or use it to plan your own shopping.
