I find this doubtful, as LAST March (2011) we went by the sales centre and the salespeople told us it was 75% sold and that construction would most likely start in June 2011.
More and more people are thinking this is some kind of scam by this family that owns the property, yet again. I’m worried that if something DOES get built they will skimp on quality materials so much that it may be better just having the hole there.
It’s true that sales offices sometimes stretch the truth. There’s no way sales could have been that high in early 2011. The number is backed up this year by the industry publication Urbanation. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. It’s a cool building at a subway station.
that’s somewhat encouraging…June…starting to think I’ll believe it when I see it….
now how about a Starbucks for the empty credit union office down the street…with sidewalk seating on the side….
Last time I checked we had FOUR great privately owned coffee shops near the future condo site…not sure if Starbucks is what’s needed!
let’s just hope it doesn’t become another dollar store then…those we have plenty of…or a MoneyMart…ask the people who live on that street if they’d perfer a starbucks ….it’s all about real estate values .
seems expensive for woodbine and danforth. Hell, the parking spots are way more than ones in some downtown areas!
