Artsy News: Artists’ consultations and artsy classes

We know that this ‘hood is brimming with creativity.  Here is some info for all established and budding artists.

Calling all Ward 32 Artists!

A message from Councillor McMahon’s Office and East End Arts:

Hi Ward 32 Artists!

Do you have an idea for a program or event that you’d like to see East End Arts develop? Would you like to help us plan our activities for 2014 and beyond? Please join us for one of these upcoming sessions where we’ll discuss some of the programs we’re considering:

Wednesday October 30, 7-9 pm @ Balmy Beach Club, foot of Beech Avenue. Sign up here

This is a great opportunity to help shape East End Arts for future years – please come by!

Artsy Classes

Are you still reeling from trying (and failing) to register your kids for City-run programs at the crack of dawn?  Well, here are some class options that do not require two cups of a coffee and a spreadsheet.

Mrs Darling’s Imaginarium has some new Holiday and PA day workshops, as well as some grown-up classes. Please check out her website www.mrsdarlings.ca for the most updated schedule, and note that there is also info about hiring our neighbourhood crafting queen for your child’s birthday party.
