Arts and Science: Artisans at Work this fall & New walk-in clinic

Looking for something to do this Friday that you can walk to?  How does an art exhibit, ceviche bar and live music sound?

And if on Monday morning you aren’t feeling well (and it’s not just a case of work-itis), a new medical clinic has opened up in Danforth Neighbourhood Pharmacy to meet all of your needs.  Read on for more details.

  • Deliciously crafted Fish Ceviche with Quinoa & Kale Asian Pesto

Also featuring some fabulous Live music by The Sidewalkers 7:30-9:00 pm!
Will they play some Irish ballads, ore some Scottish bagpipes? Perhaps the Beatles?

Day of the Dead Celebrations

Our friend Rodrigo Esponda who did a superb job hosting Mexico Night on Sept 24 will host this event with his amazing wife Ana Fremont!

They will help anyone who is interested to build our very own community window altar, to remember our late loved ones & pets! The way I understand it, its a fun, happy occasion, where we bring ancestors things they loved in their life, even letter to them. I am very much looking forward to this!

The date is set for November 2nd. Take a workshop by one of our artists to build an heirloom memorial piece of art in mid Oct, or just bring your items for the altar Nov 1-2. I will post more info on the Events page, so keep checking in!
