What’s new at the market this week? Pickling Cucumbers (and a CONTEST!)

We’ve been overwhelmed by the community’s support for this year’s virtual market. It’s been a busy summer in our online DECA store with steady delivery donations, mask purchases and membership signups.
We are substantially over 400 customers now, so we thought we’d make things interesting!  – Our 500th DECA Store customer will receive $50 worth of market food! Make your purchases this week and keep your fingers crossed!

Danforth East Community Association – DECA has masks available for online purchase and delivery to your door!

We’ve got kid and adult sizes now in fabulous prints from FabricSpark

Masks are fully adjustable and carefully sewn by DECA volunteers.

Two Ways to Order:

  1. You can browse styles and order them online at The DECA Store
  2. Email us at market@deca.to with your order

Mask Orders placed by Tuesday noon are delivered Thursday afternoon by market volunteers.

Kids sizes are $12 Adults are $15

  • Online Promotion: DECA Family Membership and mask for $25

Proceeds from the masks go to help seniors through The Neighbourhood Group and to DECA’s market operations.

– What is Wet Garlic? Wet (or green) garlic is freshly-harvested garlic that hasn’t been hung up to dry. It’s sweeter, milder and less pungent than the usual kind and is lovely sliced straight into salads.
