1. Word on the street is there is a new coffee shop just east of Woodbine called True Brew. Leather chairs, lattes and locally owned. There are yummy baked goods and nice sunny windows to read by. It’s across from Value Village but don’t let that stop you. With the money you save at Value Village you can buy yourself a treat.
2. My e-mail was buzzing this week as the new Toronto Life was delivered to many mailboxes. The Next Hot Hoods: Danforth Village. “Agents and analysts agree: these three enclaves show early signs of gentrification, promise big returns and are simply great places to live.” The other two neighbourhoods were Long Branch on the border of Mississauga and Guildwood in Scarborough.
3. And then there was this unfortunate note from 54 Division today.
