The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an attempted child abduction.

On Thursday, April 17, 2008, between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., it is reported that:

– a woman approached a four-year-old child in the East Lynn Park, in the Danforth Avenue/Woodbine Avenue area,

– the woman grabbed the child by the arm and tried to entice him away,

– when the child’s caregiver intervened, the woman said, “What are you doing with my son?”

The woman is described as white, 40 to 50, 5’8″ – 5’10”, very skinny, with long blonde curly hair. She was wearing a green shirt, beige pants and lots of bracelets.
