Niche news & a lot of cold air

For those of you who LOVED Three’s Company – and there’s a lot of you…
The word on the street is that Three’s Company is opening up a cafe in the old Niche location.  The Three’s Company restaurant was a lovely breakfast and lunch place near Monarch Park that packed up and move west to Pape.  Now, the owners are opening a subsidiary cafe in the lovely location (also near Monarch Park) where the Niche cafe used to be.  I understand Three’s Company moves in on December 1st and plans to open within the week.

Wanted On A Windy Night
DECA’s self-proclaimed eco witch would like to invite members to Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate (145 Guildwood Parkway, Scarborough) on Monday November 24, 2008 at 7:00 pm (registration starts at 6:15, get there early to ensure admission) to support the proposed WIND FARM in Lake Ontario.   Toronto Hydro and the Toronto Renewable Energy Cooperative are looking at building 60 wind turbines 2 km offshore from Ajax to the Leslie St. Spit, powering 50,000 homes with electricity.  There will be a free bus from Kennedy Stn. between 5:30 and 6:30.  Email windybus@gmail.com to register.

By the way, DECA itself doesn’t have an opinion on this issue, this is just a bit of information from us to you.
