I jut had to send out a note today to say thank you one more time to Alison McMurray and her band of East Lynn Park Crusaders. Before they got together and decided to make that park into what it is today, it was not the kind of place that real estate agents put into their listings. It was, I’m told, a drug dealer’s haven, with out-of-date play equipment. It was not the gathering point for neighbourhood families the way it is today.
I notice in today’s Globe and Mail in it’s Done Deals Real Estate section, that the featured house on Roseheath is in a “terrific location, five minutes to the subway, five minutes to East Lynn Park and a block to the Danforth.”
Good for you East Lynn Park Foundation. We all thank you.
