No, not graffiti ON trees silly. That just wouldn’t be our style.
First – congratulations to Mary Margaret and her pals at LEAF for a fabulously successful tree tour on Sunday. About 65 people from across the GTA showed up to learn about the tree canopy here in our little corner of the city. We are going to hear more about the tour in the next newsletter, but I was also interested to read what the arborist had to say about the big oak tree at Earl Beatty on the Earl Beatty Community Blog. Tara does a great job of keeping that blog humming along with information about the school, the community centre, the yard and other cool stuff happening in this neighbourhood.
Now for the graffiti. DECA’s safety committee is part of the community liason committee for 55 Division. (If you live north of the Danforth and want to be involved in the safety committee, we could really use you!) In any case, we’ll be attending this town hall on Tuesday, May 27th and you can too. All the info is below.
